One of the reasons why Christians have failed to walk in God's anointing is , they have not understood what God's anointing is.
Every born again Christian who has been baptized in the Holy Spirit has been CALLED , COMMISSIONED and ANOINTED by God to fulfill His plan and purpose upon this earth.

We have received divine anointing from God to fulfill His plan and purposes Paul told the believers in the Corinthian Church:
     Now He that established us with you and hath anointed us, is God.
                                                                              11 Corinthians 1:21

The anointing We have received is not from Man but by divine origin. Just as in the old covenant God anointed Prophets, Priests and Kings with a holy anointing oil to fulfill His plans and purposes. Under the new covenant today, He has anointed us with Holy anointing oil" to fulfill His plans and purposes through us.
